THEME: BLOOM

May's theme is "bloom," as springtime begins to give way to summer. Depending on the plant, blooms are just starting, reaching their peak, or beginning to die away after serving their function.

Many things can bloom, from flowers to people to societal shifts to hopes and dreams. The focus is on something ephemeral coming to fruition.
