This is a TF Megatron/Ratchet and Megatron & Ratchet fan community.

This community is for any content that focuses on a relationship (romantic, platonic, queerplatonic, etc.) between those two characters.

If the community/ship garners enough interest, we may also be able to host some fandom events such as a ship week.

Community Rules

Content must focus on Megatron & Ratchet's relationship and/or interactions.

Other relationships can be mentioned.

Polycules are allowable.

One-sided relationships are allowable.

Any continuity is welcome.

Community membership is open.

Do not use the community to solicit commissions.
- Commissioned pieces that otherwise fall under the rules are welcome to be posted.

Any media type is allowable: fic, art, videos, fanmixes, edits, podfics, etc.

Content can be any rating.
- Clicking through cuts and warnings constitutes your affirming that you are of legal age and consent to view such content.

Any member is allowed to post to the community.
- Please be respectful to other members and commenters.
- This means no hateful content is allowed.

Violations of community guidelines will first result in two written warnings and deletion of the violating content. After a third violation, a member will be banned.

Monthly Theme: Memory

THEME: MEMORY

April's theme is "memory," emphasizing the importance of memory in understanding ourselves and charting paths forward.

With long lives and millions of slights and conversations and the heavy weight of history, Cybertronians have much to reminisce about. Memories can paralyze as much as they can catalyze decisions, sicken as well as comfort. Some memories are forgotten: willingly, accidentally, or even by force. History can also show how the present came to be. How will Megatron and Ratchet confront their memories?

THEME: THAW

March's (late) theme is "thaw" in honor of the month when the northern part of the world begins to emerge from winter and when the southern part prepares for winter's embrace.

Many things can thaw from frigid ice to hardened hearts to jaded sparks. Whether through the warmth of the fire or the affection of another person, but the crux of thawing is that a change takes place. What sort of changes will Megatron and Ratchet experience?

Theme Prompts - Update

Last month, we posted that we're considering offering theme prompts for works* once a month or so. There was one interested response from a community member so we're going to give it a try. We're hoping that offering small events like theme prompts will encourage community creativity and engagement.

What sort of themes would you, the community members be interested in? General prompts such as words (I.E. Medicine or Trust) or more specific prompts (I.E. Synth-En) or something else entirely?

Any works for the theme prompts don't only have to be new works specifically for the prompt; works you've done (or want to rec) but have never crossposted to this community if you think they fit the theme are on the table.
